Kerry Manley, PhD

Kerry is a Jungian Arts-Based Researcher, Depth Psychologist, and Celtic Polytheist who works with The Mórrígan, Irish sovereignty goddess.

Her primary professional interest is tending to the holistic sovereignty of body, inner life, relationships, and community. She specializes in teaching Jungian Arts-Based Research, and seeking psychological insights through embodied creative explorations of mythology.

 

Kerry completed her MA and PhD in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute with concentration in Jungian and Archetypal Studies. Her dissertation research  was an arts-based exploration of the Mórrígan and women’s sexual sovereignty. Kerry's undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado is in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, following her love of the natural world.

 

She is also a certified Mind Body Eating Coach from the Institute for the Psychology of Eating and Certified Flower Essence Practitioner through Woman Rising Mystery School. Kerry has extensively studied women's spirituality, various forms of paganism, and feminine leadership. She is currently working on expanding her skillsets to include astrological readings.

 

Dance, martial arts, painting, textiles, video, and photography are Kerry’s primary creative mediums.

When Jung formulates his experience, he writes: “Image is psyche.” So, when I ask, “where is my soul; how do I meet it; what does it want now?” the answer is: “turn to your images.”
